Test Lead – Innovative Product Development (Full-time)

Job Overview

We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Test Lead to drive quality assurance across multiple Agile squads working on a complex data platform. You will be responsible for designing scalable QA practices, coordinating test execution across teams, and ensuring high-quality software releases that support diverse users—from business users to data scientists.

As a key leader in our product development team, you will collaborate closely with Product Owners, Developers, Designers, and QA members to align quality strategies with business goals and technical priorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate QA efforts across multiple squads to ensure consistent testing processes, alignment with product roadmaps, and timely releases
  • Define and implement scalable test strategies tailored to each product line or feature set, including test planning, execution, and risk-based prioritization
  • Establish and maintain QA standards, test documentation formats, and metrics to monitor quality and drive continuous improvement
  • Guide and mentor QA team members across squads, supporting both manual and automation skill development
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate QA into Agile workflows, from story grooming to Definition of Done
  • Select, evaluate, and optimize QA tools and frameworks to support test management, automation, and CI/CD integration
  • Act as a quality advocate in cross-functional discussions, helping resolve inter-team testing issues and ensuring effective test coverage across releases

Requirement

Qualifications

Experience

  • 5–8 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance
  • At least 1–2 years in a QA/Test Lead role with experience managing testing in Agile environments
  • Proven experience in leading distributed QA teams and coordinating cross-squad initiatives

Technical Skills

  • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, test design, and defect management
  • Experience in managing teams on the use of testing tools, Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, or similar frameworks
  • Experience testing data-centric or enterprise-level platforms is a plus

Soft Skills

  • Strong leadership, mentoring, and coaching abilities
  • Excellent communication skills and cross-functional collaboration
  • Analytical thinking with a focus on quality metrics and root cause analysis
  • Ability to adapt and lead through change in a fast-paced development environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with data platforms, analytics tools, or access-controlled systems
  • Exposure to Agile frameworks at scale (e.g., Scrum framework)
  • Background in QA process improvement and automation strategy
