Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated System Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain robust IT infrastructure solutions for our clients and internal systems. This role will involve working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration of our platform into diverse environments. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and adept at problem-solving.
Requirement
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement infrastructure solutions, including servers, storage, and networks, to support Big Data and AI platforms.
- Monitor and maintain system performance, ensuring high availability and reliability.
- Collaborate with software engineers and data teams to optimize system configurations for performance and scalability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system-related issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Maintain security protocols and implement best practices to safeguard infrastructure and data.
- Manage and oversee CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth and efficient deployment processes for product development.
- Automate and improve deployment workflows to enhance software delivery efficiency.
- Document system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting guides for reference.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend system improvements as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related fields.
- 3+ years of experience in system engineering or IT infrastructure roles.
- Proficiency in managing Linux-based systems and experience with Windows environments.
- Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware, Docker, or Kubernetes.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of networking principles, including TCP/IP, DNS, and firewalls.
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
