Position Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Senior Automation Tester with experience in developing and executing automated tests using Cypress or Playwright to ensure the quality and reliability of our enterprise data solutions. This role involves designing and executing test plans, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring our products meet the highest standards. The ideal candidate is methodical, analytical, and committed to continuous improvement.
Requirement
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress or Playwright.
- Collaborate with developers to integrate automated testing into the CI/CD pipeline.
- Define and implement best practices for test automation frameworks and strategies.
- Conduct functional, regression, and end-to-end testing to ensure software reliability.
- Analyze test results, report defects, and work closely with development teams to resolve issues.
- Continuously improve automation coverage and optimize test execution efficiency.
- Research and adopt new tools and technologies to enhance the automation process.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in software testing, with a focus on automation.
- Expertise in test automation using Cypress and Playwright.
- Strong understanding of test automation frameworks, strategies, and best practices.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into deployment workflows.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as JavaScript or TypeScript for test automation.
- Familiarity with API testing and performance testing tools.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating with development teams.
- Strong communication skills and ability to mentor junior testers.
