Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Application Developer to design and develop Java/Scala-based applications. These applications will serve as integral components of our enterprise Big Data platform. The ideal candidate will work independently within established guidelines and collaborate with team leaders to estimate effort, develop plans, and execute tasks accordingly.
Requirement
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop Java/Scala-based applications as modules or components of the enterprise Big Data platform.
- Work independently within task guidelines established by management.
- Collaborate with team leaders to estimate effort, develop plans/schedules, and perform tasks according to the plan.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of proven experience as a Java/Scala developer.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or related fields.
- Familiarity with Spring or Akka frameworks.
- Experience with Spark or Big Data-related frameworks is a plus.
